What happens when your player is substituted?
BetMGM keeps your eligible player bet in the action with Golden Sub, even when a substitution shakes up the match. Back a player in an eligible football market displaying the Golden Sub icon and, if they are substituted, your bet automatically switches to the player who replaces them. The replacement will appear in My Bets, and if that substitute is later taken off too, the selection can move again to the next official replacement. Golden Sub is available on qualifying singles, multiples and Bet Builder bets, including selected pre match and in play markets, with eligible options such as goalscorer, cards, assists, shots and shots on target.
The feature only covers 90 minutes plus stoppage time, so extra time and penalties do not count. If the player you originally backed does not start the match and later comes on as a substitute, the bet is void. When Golden Sub activates, Cash Out is no longer available. Winning qualifying bets are settled after normal time and paid as cash, so always look for the Golden Sub icon before placing your bet.
