Slot theme and symbols
Theme-wise, Hawaiian Tiki tells you exactly what it has to offer as soon as you read its title. At its core, this game plays like many others, requiring that you form combinations of 3 to 6 symbols when they land on adjacent reels, starting with the leftmost reel. A cascade mechanic follows after each win, replacing winning symbols with others, possibly resulting in additional wins. The easy-to-figure-out mechanics, along with its medium volatility and the 96.76% RTP, all contribute to a feeling of familiarity. With the WILD logo on it, the substitute symbol is easy to spot when it shows up. Itβs not going to be a common sight, though, as it can only land on reels 3 and 4. Whenever it lands on those reels, and itβs a winning round, the wild symbol expands downwards by one position. If the wild is already at the bottom, it expands upwards. This happens over the course of multiple cascades, for as long as you keep forming new combinations.
Scatter Symbol
Volcano scatters are the other major feature symbols present in Hawaiian Tiki. These symbols can land on all reels, but only once on each one. There are no rewards paid out directly by these scatters, so their only role is triggering the main feature.
Free Spins
Whenever there are at least 3 scatter symbols on the reels, the game will trigger a feature with 12 to 18 free spins (12 for the initial 3 scatters, and an extra 2 rounds for each scatter beyond that number). What changes, compared to paid spins, is that wild symbols will become sticky for the next round, and will also gain a wild symbol, so they expand for it.
