Slot machine details and review Trick or Treat Joker
Trick or Treat Joker is one of the many slots you can check out in Evoplayβs collection, but it stands out through its choice of a classic fruit theme that was modified to look the part of a Halloween-inspired design. When playing this game, you will have 5×3 reels to use each round, with winning combinations possible via 10 paylines.
Every slot machine must be developed by a company that invented, designed and put it into operation. Many players eventually find that they only enjoy playing on machines from specific software provider, so they narrow down their selection by preferred brand.
A slot machine with low volatility. Wins occur frequently, but are usually small. The game has a smoother course without large fluctuations, suitable for players who do not like risk and work with a smaller budget. More about volatility here.
Slot theme and symbols
The fruit and Halloween categories blend well in this five-reel slot machine from Evoplay. With cobwebs on fruit, or with pumpkins among its symbols, it has the right look for a scary game, especially with the Joker, who looks like an evil vampire. If you check out the background image, it gets even worse, with smoke and fire rising from a hellish landscape inhabited by Jack O’ Lanterns and bats. There are only 8 symbols in total, 7 of which are regular symbols.
Trick or Treat Joker theme and symbols
You can expect only one very popular feature inside, which previous slots have made popular, but it should be enough. You can try the slot as a demo first, but you can also just play it directly, given its Low volatility and acceptable RTP (95.99%). On the other hand, there is a downside in the form of a top prize that doesnβt feel too motivating, worth 923x the stake, but thatβs true of most slots that have relatively little risk.

WILD symbol
You can get Joker Wilds to land on reels 2-4 only, but these have the advantage of being able to expand on their reels. Wilds are used as substitute symbols, and as they expand, they contribute to all paylines at the same time.
Respins
The presence of a Wild symbol on the reels will bring with it a respin feature. Following the expansion of the Joker Wild on its reel, the respin triggers for all other columns (the wild reel is sticky). Get a second Wild to appear during that respin, and it will also become sticky, and you get another respin. This can happen three times in total until you get wilds on all middle reels. Itβs the type of feature that youβve likely seen before, being made popular by Starburst.

Our rating of the game
Trick or Treat Joker
The action of Trick or Treat Joker is great for a short time each year, when itβs Halloween time. It does a pretty good job delivering a scary theme, and itβs even more impressive since the basis for its design is a collection of classic fruit symbols. Even though it looks like a scary game, its volatility is at a Low level, the RTP is at 95.99%, and wins of 923x the stake are possible. Itβs an accessible slot machine, looks good, and has a popular mechanic. It might not be very original, but it can be fun to play, at least during Halloween. Itβs also a good game for a beginner or a casual player.

How do we rate slot machines?
We evaluate slot machines based on multiple criteria, from which we make our final verdict.
Halloween-inspired theme, combined with fruit symbols, great to see for that particular time of the year.
Pretty good quality in its design, especially if you like the classic fruit theme, and you want it adapted for Halloween.
Expanding wild symbols are available to help you with new combinations, and they have respins to offer.
Low volatility release, with frequent wins, though they do tend to be of lower value.
A 95.99% RTP is good enough, especially with the reduced volatility thatβs also mentioned.
Cons
A 923x top jackpot is not going to make you rich, but itβs hard to get something better when volatility is low.
It has only one major feature, and itβs one that is already very popular and common in other slots.
Regular combinations donβt pay that much, with the best possible combo offering 25x the stake.
