The action in Oishi Delights takes us to a Japanese town during a local festival. It involves plenty of good food, if we go by the images used in its best symbols, but not all positions will be fun to look at. Wooden boards are used to block some of the positions on each reel, so you don’t always get the full 8 symbols on each column. Royals are also present, and they do little to improve the design. Overall, though, this is a decent-looking slot, just not as good as it could’ve been without the unrelated stuff on its reels.

WILD Symbol

Our rating of the game Oishi Delights

There are several things I enjoyed about Oishi Delights. The Japanese festival-inspired design is one of them, and the high-quality premium symbols are next on the list. Add a 10,000x top jackpot with high RTP, and multipliers that can double with each special symbol involved in a win, and it’s going to feel like a special release, with plenty to offer. It’s not just another slot, copying the work of others. I appreciate that PG Soft’s slot does its own thing here.

Pros

Having a 10,000x top jackpot to try and claim is always a good motivator for players.
The RTP is good, at 96.75%, so in the long run, it pays back to its players a larger amount than its competitors.
Cute Japanese-inspired graphics, which are always appreciated by players, particularly with their symbols featuring various delicious foods.
The multipliers that keep doubling in value when particular symbols are involved in wins.
A powerful free spins feature, where you start with an 8x multiplier, and it can still double in value with each new special symbol that you get in a combo.
Wild symbols are present, and they can have a good impact in the long run.

Cons

I’m not a big fan of blocker symbols being used, as their look is bland and doesn’t do much for the slot’s design.
Half of the regular symbols feature Royals, themselves placed on wooden boards.
I would’ve liked seeing a persistent multiplier during free spins, but it resets between rounds.
