Tree of Light: Fabled Fruits is a sequel to another slot that was released by Evoplay three years prior to this one. Itβs a slot that has been improved in some ways, while keeping the same excellent design style and the fantasy magic-inspired story that made the previous title so fun to check out. Even its game area has seen improvements, now giving us 5×3 reels with 25 paylines.
Every slot machine must be developed by a company that invented, designed and put it into operation. Many players eventually find that they only enjoy playing on machines from specific software provider, so they narrow down their selection by preferred brand.
A slot with medium volatility. Wins are less frequent, but more often of higher value. The game is less stable and you can expect longer periods without winning, suitable for players who can tolerate higher risk and are more after bigger wins. More about volatility here.
Slot theme and symbols
Tree of Light: Fabled Fruits uses the same fantasy-inspired design, with magic and wild creatures that have been affected by it. I miss seeing the cute mouse next to the reels, but we do get it among the slotβs symbols now. The quality of the design in this slot with five reels is good, but the style is much more common-looking now, while before it was something that stood out. You still have 8 regular symbols to use, half of which are stone with Royals on them, rather than the rune stones previously used.

One area where Iβve seen some improvement is in the volatility of the game, which has been reduced from a High to a Medium-High level. It still doesnβt pay as well as it should, with up to 1,650x the stake offered in a single spin. Theyβve improved the RTP a little bit as well, and now itβs at 96.20%, which is another plus in its favour. While the original game had some unique mechanics, Evoplay turned the sequel into the sort of slot you can find everywhere right now, so I would say itβs a downgrade in this regard.

WILD symbol
One of two symbols that can form high-value combinations, the Mouse Wild is going to land on all reels. If it appears 3 to 5 times on a line, it forms its own combinations, just like regular symbols would. Otherwise, you can use it as a substitute symbol, even if it only lands once or twice. As this is a sequel, itβs hard to judge it on its merits alone. Looking at the legacy left behind by the previous Tree of Light game, there was something unique about it that allowed it to stand out in a crowd, even with its increased volatility and disappointing top prize. Evoplay removed all those unique mechanics and just turned it into something you can get anywhere else, with wilds and respins both available now. Given how much competition there is in the Hold & Win space, I find it hard to believe that its Medium-High volatility, 96.20% RTP, and 1,650x top prize will be enough to make it popular with todayβs players.
