Multiplier Meter
Chinese New Year comes with a Multiplier Meter, which it uses to boost wins if there are several paid spins with winning combinations in a row. You start from 1x for the first winning spin, but if there are consecutive winning spins that follow, the multiplier keeps doubling. It goes to 2x for the second winning round, to 4x for the third, 8x for the fourth, 16x for the fifth, and then to 32x for the sixth round and any others that might follow. I wouldnβt call Chinese New Year a must-play slot machine. That being said, it has some things that I enjoyed seeing. The Multiplier Meterβs presence and availability over paid spins, rather than through cascading reels, is one of the few things that set it apart from the crowd. It has good graphics and works very well as a holiday-appropriate game, but its low RTP and disappointing top prize will keep a lot of players away. Give this one a chance during the New Year of the Chinese, but I wouldnβt say itβs a slot worth playing all year long.
