Discussion rules
In general, we believe that when commenting, you need to maintain a certain level of decency and respect for others. The most commonly prohibited or undesirable types of content include:
1. Vulgarisms and insults
1.1. Comments containing excessive profanity or insults towards the author of the article, other commenters or any groups of people.
2. Hate speech
2.2. Expressions containing racism, sexism, homophobia or any other form of discrimination or hatred towards minorities or religious groups.
3. Spam and advertising
3.3. Inserting links to your own website, products or services without context.
3.4. Repeatedly inserting the same message without context in connection with another user.
3.5. Inserting any link that is an advertisement.
3.6. Comments with content generated by robots or content that is clearly not related to the topic.
4. Obscene or explicit content
4.1. Overly explicit sexual content.
4.2. Dissemination of materials with violent, pornographic or otherwise inappropriate overtones.
5. Violation of privacy and personal data
5.1. Publishing other people’s personal data (phone numbers, addresses, social security numbers, etc.) without their consent.
5.2. So-called “doxxing” – i.e. intentional publication of sensitive information for the purpose of harm.
6. Illegal content
6.1. Threats, incitement to criminal activity or promotion of illegal activities.
6.2. Sharing copyrighted materials without permission (warez, illegal copies of films, etc.).
6.3. Sharing links to online casinos that do not have a valid license for the Czech Republic.
6.4. Encouraging other readers of comments to play in online casinos without a license for the Czech Republic.
7. Inappropriate tone or ad hominem attacks
7.1. Instead of a substantive argument, commenters attack the person, not their opinion (so-called “ad hominem” argumentation).
7.2. Personal attacks without relevant content on the topic.
8. Intentional dissemination of misinformation or hoaxes
8.1. Spreading false news, alarmist hoaxes or conspiracy theories that may mislead readers.
9. Encouraging gambling. Comments must not:
9.1. motivate gambling for profit or target persons under the age of 18,
9.2. create the impression that gambling increases social status,
9.3. present gambling as a skill activity if this does not correspond to reality,
9.4. offer gambling as a solution to financial problems,
9.5. downplay the risks and negative impacts,
9.6. encourage irresponsible behavior,
9.7. label non-gambling as weakness or immaturity, or
9.8. mislead about the chances of winning.
If these rules are violated, we reserve the right to block the user in the comments via IP address, email or registered account. If there is a repeated violation of the rules, the account and IP address will be blocked completely.
